No — we assess every surface first and choose the safest method. For delicate or older paving, we avoid high pressure and use the Westermann Moss Brush or low‑pressure cleaning to protect joints and pointing.

If you can move small items, great — but we’re happy to help shift heavier pieces when we arrive. We always work around your space safely and respectfully.

Most surfaces stay clean for 9–12 months. Shaded or damp areas may need more frequent maintenance. We can also apply optional treatments to slow down algae and moss regrowth which will help it last even longer!

Pressure washing uses water to blast away dirt and algae. The Westermann Moss Brush uses a rotary brush to lift moss and debris without water or chemicals. It’s ideal for block paving, textured surfaces and areas where pressure washing could cause damage like tarmac for example.

Most patios and driveways dry within 1–3 hours depending on weather. You can walk on them straight away, but we recommend waiting until fully dry before placing furniture back.
